Nintendo has done a surprise release of their new Channel for the Wii "Everybody Votes"
Talking with my friend Nate on the phone this evening I was complaining that I couldn't find a new and reasonably priced copy of "Mario Power Tennis" for GameCube. Barb overheard me but nothing was thought specifically of it. We went to GameStop this evening to spend some Christmas money and lo and behold was a reasonably priced new copy of MPT. Who Knew?
In no particular order ... 10 NES Games that would make me get Classic Controllers.
StarTropics - I remember the February Issue of Nintendo with the Pink Cover and the Parrot (or Macaw). It was the second issue of my subscription (Sandwiched between Mega Man 2, and Metal Storm) I am pretty sure those are in my folks basement somewhere. Apart from Goonies 2 the only game that was fun that had a yo-yo as a weapon.
Bubble Bobble - Hey Neighbor Todd, do you want to play Bubble Bobble for like 8 hours straight? You do? Good! How do I steal lives from you again? EXTEND.
Bionic Commando - Tarzan meets Solid Snake, enough said.
RC Pro AM - Little Trucks, grease spots, and cash.
DuckTales - A wonderful licensed game, that is dying to be made whole again. Perhaps a two rom combo with DuckTales 2 (or the Rescue Rangers Games)
Ninja Gaiden - My introduction to the ellipsis.
Metal Storm - So the huge mech has the ability to reverse the pull of gravity on everything that isn't nailed down. Most fun I have had with a tesseract since 'A Wrinkle in Time'
Adventure Island - I don't know what it was about this game that got me ... but I always saw the logical progression of Hammer to Skateboard.
Castlevania III - The Belmonts are still trying to get that damned vampire, but now they have help.
Blaster Master - Side Scroller, Top Down, Little Mans, Aliens, and the protagonist is a kid. DONE.
